Bedfordale

Enterprise

An Enterprise concept, the Bedfordale project would be getting 90% of its use from watching blockbuster cinema.

The family wanted to capture the fun atmosphere of a commercial cinema house which is where it draws inspiration from. As you’ll see the theme is fun and playful reminiscent of Timezone with coloured star lights and a popcorn machine.

The cinema is designed for 3 primary seats at the fronts and 3 secondary seats at the back. With a JVC projector and ultra Blu-ray, getting that real cinematic experience is no issue.

With an Oppo Player/ Processor with 300watt power and 2x 400watt subs, the family is experiencing the best sound that a home cinema has to offer, in every corner of the home cinema. It really gives the space an authentic feel and makes the difference when watching epic films

The room did present some challenges which were able to be worked through. The window at the back had custom acoustic work to hide it. A small alcove and existing tall stage seating had an acoustic screen built to allow the front speaker line of sight for all rows.

OUR ENGINEERING STANDARDS

Very few companies in Australia (and the world) are certified and trained by the leading authorities in Home Cinema. The Rogue team have done extensive training and development through THX (holistic cinema design), ISF (image clarity) and HAA (small room acoustics) which have set the requirements and standards that are crucial for any Home Cinema.

NATURAL SOUND

Great sound from science. From surround sound, installation, engineering and tuning, these acoustic standards allow the best possible cinematic sound in the home.

HOLISTIC CINEMA DESIGN

Developed by renowned Director, George Lucas, THX has set the benchmark for holistic cinema design. It encompasses both the room and system. Everything from the colour of the room, where you sit, sound and image, the full package.

IMAGE SCIENCE FOUNDATION

Straight out of the box, no TV or projection system performs perfectly. Calibration to reference standards allows deeper, richer and wider range of colours to give you the quality intended by the movie studios.
